Privacy policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
Superbrand (Michael Bruno Rasile, ABN 71 856 046 894) runs superbrand.au. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you book a discovery call, we collect your name, work email, brand name, website or Instagram, how you heard about us, who referred you, and your answers about timing, budget and revenue. When you take the Brand Check and ask for your written breakdown, we collect your email, your store’s web address, your revenue band and your answers. When you introduce a founder to us, we collect your name and email, the details you give us about them, and your payment details if we pay you a referral fee. When you apply to work with us, we collect what you send, such as your portfolio. If you become a client, we also hold your billing details, project files and our correspondence with you. When you visit the site, we collect basic usage data such as pages viewed and the type of device and browser you use.
How we collect it
Mostly straight from you: through the forms on our site, by email and on calls. With your OK, we record and transcribe some calls so we can focus on the conversation instead of taking notes. We also get some from other people, such as someone who introduces you to us, and from business contact details people have made public, such as on a company website or LinkedIn. Our site analytics collect usage data automatically when you visit. Before a kickoff, we also review information your business has made public, such as your website, social media and online reviews, so we can pre-fill your onboarding questionnaire.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, book and prepare for calls, deliver and invoice projects, pay referral fees, consider job applications, introduce ourselves to brands we think we can help, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We may also email you now and then about our work. Each of those emails lets you unsubscribe, and we’ll stop as soon as you do. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for anything you wouldn’t reasonably expect.
Who we share it with
Only the people and services that help us run the business, and only what each one needs: Cal.com for bookings, Google Workspace for email, calendars and files, Notion for project pages, Xero for accounting, Framer for our website, its forms and analytics, Google Analytics to understand visits to the site, Google Ads and Meta to measure and show our ads, Claude (by Anthropic) as an AI assistant, Wispr Flow for call transcripts, the freelancers who help deliver your project, and our professional advisers, such as our accountant. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Information stored overseas
Some of these services store data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we store and protect it
We hold your information electronically, in the services listed above. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, changes or disclosure. We delete or de-identify it once we no longer need it, unless the law says we have to keep it (for example, tax records). We keep enquiries that don’t go ahead and job applications for up to two years, and client and financial records for seven years.
Cookies and analytics
We use Framer’s built-in analytics to see how the site is used, such as which pages people visit. It doesn’t use cookies or collect anything that identifies you. We also use Google Analytics to understand visits, such as how people find the site. It uses cookies to tell visits apart. To opt out, use Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We advertise with Google and Meta. Google Ads tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to book a call. The Meta pixel records visits to our pages, so we can show our ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have already visited the site or engaged with our Instagram. Both use cookies and similar technology, and Google and Meta handle that data under their own privacy policies. To opt out, turn off ad personalisation in your Google account at myadcenter.google.com and in Meta’s Accounts Centre under Ad preferences, or opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at aboutads.info/choices.
Our booking calendar is run by Cal.com, which may use its own cookies when you book. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@superbrand.au. We’ll respond within 30 days. If we can’t do what you ask, we’ll tell you why in writing.
Making a complaint
If you think we’ve mishandled your information, email hello@superbrand.au and tell us what happened. We’ll look into it and respond within 30 days. If you’re not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
